Getting my thoughts out with voice

I cannot urge you enough to start using voice mode inside of Codex or Claude to communicate.
I also use an app called Wispr Flow that makes it so I can just hold down a hotkey and use voice input anywhere across my computer.
The difference between this and the past is that whenever I tried to use voice dictation before, I spent way too much time going back and editing. I mumble a lot, and I’ve historically not been great at using voice chat.
These newer tools route everything through an LLM and clean up the text for you first, which makes it way more reliable.
What this does for me is allow me to communicate way better and actually get all of my thoughts out.
Whenever I’m working on a prompt, I’ll just brain dump. I hold the button down and dump everything in my mind about what I’m trying to build for as long as I need to.
Everything I’m worried about. Everything I’ve already tried. Everything I know about the problem. Everything I can think of. I just completely brain dump it without worrying about structure.
I cannot emphasize enough how helpful this has been and how often I use it. It’s pretty rare that I type anymore.
