Finding an outlet in music

A few years ago, I started learning guitar. At the time, I was just looking for an outlet. I never expected it to become such an important part of my life.

Eventually I started writing songs, Carrie started singing them, and somewhere along the way we found ourselves performing together as Carrie & Dale. Writing music together has become one of my favorite parts of our relationship, and getting to share those songs with other people has been an experience neither of us expected.

I realized I’ve never really shared that side of my life here.
